CIVIL FEES INCREASE --- The Judicial Council of California has announced a new civil fee and traffic fine structure beginning January 1.
SEI & SOLO SUMMIT IN BERKELEY --- Attorneys can earn MCLE credit at the Section Education Institute (Jan. 16-18) and the Solo and Small Firm Summit (Jan. 15-16).
FAMILY LAW EXPERTISE --- A Supreme Court-created task force aimed at improving family law is seeking input from California lawyers.

KENNETH WAYNE NYDAM
Kenneth Wayne Nydam passed away peacefully on June 12 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He was 67 years old. Ken was born in Southgate, Ca. and lived in the Redlands, Highland, and San Bernardino areas for the past 61 years. ... Ken practiced Law in San Bernardino for 38 years and retired from the firm of Tomlinson, Nydam & Prince in 2003 due to health issues.
In Oct. 2005, Ken received the Matthew M. Kearney award by the Legal Aid Society.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ken's name to Redlands Christian School or the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino.
Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 1:30p.m. at Montecito Memorial Park at Veteran's Wall.
A celebration of Ken's life will held on Wednesday, June 18 at 3 p.m. at The River Christian Reformed Church 459 E. Highland Ave. Redlands.
