ANNUAL MEETING ― Early registration for the State Bar Annual Meeting Sept. 25-28 in Monterey runs through Aug. 27.

2009 FEES SET ― Governor Schwarzenegger signed the State Bar fee bill setting dues for 2009 at $410 for active members and $125 for inactives.

FEE AGREEMENT ETHICS OPINION ― COPRAC will hold a hearing seeking public comment on Friday, Aug. 1 from 2 to 3 p.m. in Santa Monica. Contact Audrey Hollins at 415-538-2167 if you wish to attend.

PRO BONO INFO ― The Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services has compiled an online list of resources for lawyers, law firms, bar associations, legal services providers, judges and law students interested in pro bono work.

PUBLIC COMMENT ― The State Bar seeks public comment on a number of proposals, including mandatory reporting on attorneys' State Bar Web pages, conviction proceedings and the State Bar Eco-Pledge.
