MCLE CREDITS IN MONTEREY --- Attorneys have the opportunity to earn up to 20 hours of MCLE credit at the 2008 Annual Meeting in Monterey, Sept. 25-28. Onsite registration is available.

DRAFT ETHICS OPINIONS --- COPRAC is seeking public comment on proposed ethics opinions dealing with fee waiver settlements and enforcement of charging liens, at a hearing during the Annual Meeting in Monterey on Thursday, September 25, 2:30 p.m. Contact Audrey Hollins at 415-538-2167 if you wish to attend.

GET INVOLVED ---The State Bar is recruiting applicants for approximately 200 positions on more than 40 committees, boards and commissions for 2009-10.
