BOALT HALL CONFERENCE --- A forum for judges, government officials, scholars and practitioners will address the work of the state Supreme Court and legal issues affecting California’s judiciary on Nov. 14 at the University of California, Berkeley. MCLE credit is available.

DISCIPLINE HEARINGS --- The State Bar of California will hold its annual hearings on attorney disciplinary procedures, attorney competency and admissions procedure on Dec. 9 in Los Angeles and Dec. 11 in San Francisco.

TRUST ACCOUNT CONCERNS --- The State Bar's Ethics Hotline offers lawyers research assistance on professional responsibility issues related to client trust accounts and the nation's current financial crisis.

GIVE SOME TIME --- The State Bar is recruiting applicants for approximately 170 positions on more than three dozen committees, boards and commissions.
