State Bar E-briefs
WILDFIRE AID --- The bar has compiled a list of resources to aid victims of the ongoing California wildfires, as well as members of the legal community who want to contribute assistance.
IMPARTIAL COURTS --- Two former state governors will be among the panelists in a July 14 public forum, "Preserving Impartial Courts in California," 9:30 a.m., at the Secretary of Building in Sacramento. The public is invited to participate.
COMMENT IN JULY --- Comment is sought for several proposed revisions to rules affecting the practice law.
MEMBER BENEFITS --- A new members-only Web site, CalBar Connect, links attorneys to affinity partners who are offering value-added products to California lawyers.
SEPTEMBER ANNUAL MEETING --- The State Bar will return to Monterey for its 81st Annual Meeting, offering a wide range of educational programs. Online registration is available.
