The State Bar of California e-briefs

SENIORS AND LAW DAY --- The State Bar’s popular Seniors & the Law: A Guide for Maturing Californians has been updated and released in conjunction with Law Day (May 1).

BOG CANDIDATES --- Eligible voters in the five State Bar districts with vacancies on the board of governors have until June 30 to cast their ballots.

CALIFORNIA JUDGES --- June 1 is the deadline for attorneys and members of the public to apply to serve on the Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE).

ASSISTANCE FROM LAP --- Attorneys dealing with stress, burnout, substance abuse and other issues can take advantage of resources offered by the State Bar’s Lawyer Assistance Program.
