Calif. Bar to Offer 'Find a Lawyer' Service

After a tortured debate, California's State Bar Board of Governors approved a new lawyer referral program to let the public search for attorneys, by language and geographic area, from a soon-to-be-built Web site. One hitch: searching by area of practice or expertise won't be an option.
