FEBRUARY 2 --- State Bar members must pay annual dues by Feb. 2 and members of MCLE compliance group 2 (last names H through M) must complete 25 hours of continuing education courses.
JOIN A COMMITTEE --- The State Bar is recruiting applicants for approximately 170 positions on more than three dozen committees, boards and commissions.
PUBLIC COMMENT --- The State Bar is seeking public comment on a number of proposals, including proposed guidelines for accredited law school rules and proposed resignation eligibility requirements.
PARTNERS --- A new group of affinity partners who provide tools and services to assist attorneys with marketing their practices have joined CalBar Connect, the State Bar's members-only Web site.
