Effective July 30, 2007:
Family Law cases from Southwest Justice Center (SWJC) where both parties are self- represented and previously heard in Department S101 at SWJC, will be moved to Department F2 at the Riverside Family Law Courthouse and heard by Commissioner Pamela Thatcher.Mediation appointments for these cases will continue to take place at SWJC.Domestic violence temporary restraining orders and ex-parte matters on these cases will continue to be heard at the Hemet Courthouse. On that same date, Department S101 at SWJC will begin hearing Misdemeanor Trial Readiness Conferences on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m., Felony and Misdemeanor Motions on Fridays at 8:30 a.m., and be open for Preliminary Hearings on Mondays and Fridays. Judge Timothy Freer will be hearing these matters.
Effective August 1, 2007:
Riverside guardianship cases will no longer be heard in the Probate Division, they will be heard in the Riverside Family Law Division.All guardianship hearings will be set at 8:30 a.m. in Department F3 in the Family Law Courthouse at 4175 Main Street, Riverside 92501. These hearings will be heard on Fridays only.

Effective August 3, 2007:
All minor offense (traffic) court trials for the Corona jurisdiction will be scheduled at the Moreno Valley Court on Fridays in Department MV-2 at the following times based on the agency that issued the citation:California Highway Patrol - 8:00 a.m.Corona Police Department - 10:00 a.m.Riverside Sheriff Department - 1:30 p.m.Other Agencies (Animal Control, Code Enforcement, etc.) - 8:00 a.m.This change is temporary and is expected to remain in effect until December, 2007.
Effective August 13, 2007:
All Civil Law and Motion matters scheduled in Department 11 at the Historic Courthouse will be heard at 8:00 a.m. as opposed to 8:30 a.m. Parties will be notified by mail regarding this change.To ensure all cases are heard by 9:30 a.m., the scheduling of Law and Motion matters will be limited to a maximum of 12 hearings per day in Department 11 only.
Effective August 13, 2007:
The courtrooms / departments of the Riverside Family Law Courthouse located at 4175 Main Street will be renumbered. The renumbering of the departments will correspond with the building floor to which they are assigned.Dept F1 - will be - F501 (5th Floor)Dept F2 - will be - F502 (5th Floor)Dept F3 - will be - F401 (4th Floor)Dept F4 - will be - F402 (4th Floor)Dept F5 - will be - F301 (3rd Floor)Also effective August 13, 2007, Department F5, currently located at the Hall of Justice at 4100 Main Street, Riverside, will be relocated to the 3rd floor of the Family Law Courthouse in Riverside and be renumbered to Department F301 as referenced above.
