"BenchMarks" is intended to provide attorneys with a profile or vignette of our Judges and Commissioners. Please note that changes in assignment after the original Bar Bulletin publication are not included. Initiated with the July/August 2003 issue of the Bar Bulletin, lead writer Ed Butler, Esq.‡ introduced 2003 Presiding Judge Welch, followed in September by Judge Peter Norell, 2004 Presiding Judge-elect. This is followed by profiles of Supervising Judges in each of the County's Judicial Districts. The plan is to continue with courts of special jurisdiction and judges and commissioners more or less according to seniority. With new judges coming on duty and new assignments we will make every effort to keep up to date. We would be pleased to accept assistance in carrying forward this project.
